Since the bricks were first laid on South Broad Street around 1910, Downtown Thomasville has witnessed immense growth. Coupling the ultimate shopping district and Victorian-era storefronts with divine cuisine has made downtown one of the most popular tourist destinations of the South!
“Our downtown is truly the heart of our community,” states April Norton, Downtown Thomasville’s Main Street and Auditorium Director. “We are so grateful for our merchants, who continue to charm locals and visitors as they stroll through their shops and restaurants.”
While old favorites such as The Billiard Academy, Al Dixon, and Thomas Drugs still maintain residency on Broad Street, in 2015, the downtown district welcomed quite a few new stores to the community along Broad and Jackson Street.
